I was elected as the Chairperson for ExGENN's Youth Forum in October 2008.

I joined the EYF because I wanted to see change and better services for young people. I saw this as an opportunity to have an input into steering and shaping services for young people through ExGENN.

The experience so far has enabled me to meet up with a fantastic group of young people and explore different ways in which we all can make a difference. We have an excellent forum where we can discuss, plan and develop ideas. The ExGENN management team value our ideas and contribution to the development of the company.

The forum is currently represented by young people ages 12 to 20 yrs. Being part of EYF promotes teamwork and creative new ideas. We also gain much more as we are continually learning ourselves and acquiring new skills such as delegating, liaising, bid writing and project development. It also helps that everyone in the EYF support each other and contribute to choices made.

As a forum we aim to develop this page so that we can share information with other young people and make your visit to this site an informative and enjoyable one.
